It’s easily one of the top manufacturers if you want a powerful, reliable and affordable vacuum for your home. And now, one of its most advanced and convenient models just dropped to a great low price.
I’ve spotted the Shark Clean & Empty at Amazon for £199 (was £349.99), which is one of the lowest prices outside of Black Friday and only around £30 more than the previous record-low.
I’ve had a Shark vacuum for several years now, and no exaggeration, it was one of the best purchases I’ve made. With good battery life, time-saving anti-hair wrap tech and powerful cordless suction, it’s made keeping my home tidier so much easier.
With all these features, and now an auto-empty charging base on the Clean & Empty, I can only imagine it’ll be even more useful to prevent dust from flying everywhere when it’s tipped into the bin.

We’ve not tested this specific model at TechRadar, but we have tried the slightly more advanced Shark Detect Clean & Empty, which scored an impressive four stars.
Many of the key features are available in this cheaper version. However, you do miss out on the Detect mode, which automatically adapts suction and power to suit different surfaces and needs for better efficiency. It’s not an enormous loss, in my eyes, especially as the anti-hair wrap tech and auto-empty charging base are still included in the standard Clean & Empty that’s currently on sale.
