CD Projekt Red has said The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s third and final expansion, Songs of the Past, will “complete” the game’s story by giving Dandelion the bard the spotlight he deserves.

In an interview with TechRadar Gaming at Gamescom, Jakub Rokosz, Fool’s Theory CEO and Songs of the Past game director and former Witcher 3 senior quest designer, explained that rather than the expansion serving as a bridge to The Witcher 4, as some fans might have expected, it actually completes Wild Hunt‘s story by delivering a new chapter that the team felt was missing.
