Honor 90 5G debuts in India with a 200MP camera

A 200-megapixel primary back camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 66W wired SuperCharge, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC are all included in the Honor 90 5G, which has just been released in India. There are three storage options available. On September 18, the phone will be offered with further discounts and exchange options on the official website and Amazon.

Honor 90 5G: Price in India

In India, the Honor 90 5G costs Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 39,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The phone is being given at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively, for a limited period as part of early-bird discounts.

Starting on September 18 at 12 PM IST, both the official website and Amazon will offer this smartphone for purchase in India. Customers who use their ICICI or SBI cards to make the purchase will receive an additional instant discount of Rs. 3,000 in addition to Amazon’s exchange discount of Rs. 2,000. The option to exchange the phone is also available to customers within 30 days after the purchase date, if necessary.

The Honor 90 5G comes in three different color options: Midnight Black, Diamond Silver, and Emerald Green.

Honor 90 5G: Specifications and features

The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen on the Honor 90 5G has a crisp 1.5K resolution (2664 x 1200 pixels). With a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, this display provides a fluid viewing experience. It has an Adreno 644 GPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC under the hood, and it can be ordered with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone’s operating system is Magic OS 7.1, which is based on Android 13.

The Honor 90 5G has an LED flash unit and three cameras: a 200 MP primary sensor backed by the Honor Image Engine, a 12 MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP sensor with a macro lens. A 50-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a hole-punch slot that is strategically located on this device’s top display.
