Honor X9b 5G’s battery, memory, and processor officially revealed ahead of India launch

HTech is going to launch the Honor X9b in India on February 15th and ahead of it, the company is drip-feeding the market with key details about the device. We learn the new phone will be featuring a 5,800mAh battery, up to 20GB RAM (with RAM Turbo), and Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Here is everything we know about it.

Honor X9b 5G specs and other details

Battery: The Honor X9b5G will be powered by a 5,800mAh cell that is rated to run 35 hours (around three days). The brand claims it can fuel up to nine hours of continuous music playback or 18 hours of calls. It is said to be capable of retaining 80 percent of its total capacity even after 1,000 charging cycles. In other words, it could last three years of performance. The phone has gotten DXOMark’s Gold Label certification for this.
Design: Honor X9b 5GLike the Realme 12 Proseries, this one also boasts a round camera island on the back that resembles a watch dial. HTecj calls it a “Classical Dual Ring Design”. The device will launch in orange and black colours. The company also mentions its vegan leather accents as part of the design.

Memory: The Honor X9b 5Gphone will be available in an 8GB+256GB variant and a 12+256GB model. Thanks to RAM Turbo virtual memory, the RAM can be expanded up to a whopping 20GB.
Processor: The phone Honor X9b 5Gwill be wielding a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip with 4 Cortex A78 performance cores at 2.2 GHz clock speed and 4 Cortex A55 efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz clock speed.
Software: Honor X9b 5Ghas said the device will ship with Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2. It teases a “clean bloatware-free user experience”.
Display: It Honor X9b 5Gwill flaunt a 6.78-inch 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED display. HONOR is confident about its 360-degree drop resistance from a height of up to 1.5 meters.

Rest, based on its Chinese edition, we think the phone will also pack a 108MP+5MP+2MPtriple rear camera setup, a 16MP front camera, Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.1, an in-display fingerprint reader, and 35W wired charging support.
The phone is tipped to be pricedbetween Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. The Honor Choice Watch and Honor Choice Earbuds X5 are also launching alongside the phone on the Feb 15th event and be available via Amazon.

Honor X9b India launch date, price (tipped)

The Honor X9b 5g will reportedly launch in India on February 8th or 9th. It’s also tipped to cost around Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000. Honor X9b is also said to launch with the Honor Choicebuds, and both devices together will be available to purchase for around Rs 35,000.
