Poco F5 review

The Poco F5 is a mid-range smartphone that prioritizes performance
The F5, Poco’s newest flagship, is now available. This time, the business chose the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 SoC instead of an 8-series processor. It boasts features like a 12-bit OLED screen, a 5000 mAh battery, and even a 3.5mm headphone port.
The Poco F5 promises to be the next performance-focused phone for the public, similar to the Poco F1, the company’s debut product, with a starting price of Rs 29,999.

Does the Poco F5 have everything one would expect from a phone in this price range, aside from performance? I’ve been using the machine every day for more than two weeks. The Poco F5 review I wrote is below.

Poco F5 layout: Practical but unpretentious

With a 5,000mAh battery, the Poco F5 is among the lightest smartphones of this year. The business has accomplished this using a plastic frame and rear panel. The phone feels surprisingly light in the hand, and the finish on the back panel prevents it from feeling cheap and makes it more resistant to shattering than a phone with a glass back panel would.
Additionally, the phone sports a 3.5mm headphone connector, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an IP54 classification for water and dust resistance. Overall, the phone is made to be useful rather than flashy, and the packaging has a soft silicon case that increases the value of the entire set.

The Poco F5 display is among the best in its class.

The Poco F5 is an exception, despite the fact that I always prefer curved displays to flat ones. Even though it had a flat screen, I was astonished by its increased screen-to-body ratio and tiny, uniform bezels. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shields the screen, and a screen protector has already been placed.
The business touts this 6.67-inch FHD+ panel as a 12-bit panel even though the processor only supports up to 10-bit color processing. It also supports Dolby Vision. The display is vivid, colorful, and extremely responsive in the real world. It also supports Dolby Vision playback on Netflix, making it a fantastic device for watching video.

I would have wanted to see an in-display fingerprint sensor, even though the side-mounted fingerprint sensor is quick and sensitive. Overall, the Poco F5 unquestionably boasts one of the greatest displays among smartphones priced around 30,000 in 2023.
Poco F5 camera functionality
With a 64 MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens, the Poco F5 sports a triple camera configuration. In a similar vein, the front also has a 16 MP selfie camera.

Although I didn’t have high hopes for the cameras, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the main camera. The Poco F5 is one of the better camera phones out there, if not the best, with the fastest shutter speed in its class and capability for up to 4k video recording.

We strongly advise you to look into phones like the Pixel 6a if you’re looking for a camera-focused device in this price bracket.
Here are several Poco F5 camera samples.
