The Realme 12 Pro series made its debut in India this week with a special emphasis on the phones’ camera prowess – especially that of the Realme 12 Pro+. The company launched the smartphone as the first in the mid-range segment with a 3x periscope camera. In fact, this is the first instance of Realme’s famed number series coming with a telephoto camera.

Not just the cameras, the Realme 12 Pro series also packs a punch with its looks. The company collaborated with Swiss watchmaker Ollivier Saveo to produce a strikingly classic design that reminds people of luxury watches.

However, beyond the cameras, design and the chipset, there’s not much of an upgrade from the Realme 11 Pro series, which sort of justifies the company keeping the starting price of the Realme 12 Pro+ at Rs 29,999, which is the same as that of its predecessor at launch.
