The Realme GT 5 Pro is allegedly in development. Realme GT 5 Pro details have appeared online ahead of an official announcement from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, albeit there is no official word on when we’ll see the device. A curved AMOLED display with 2K resolution is claimed to be included. The Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. A 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities is reported to be included.

The Realme GT 5 Pro’s specifications have been revealed on Weibo by reputable leaker Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese). According to the post, the device will come pre-installed with Android 14 and include a curved BOE AMOLED display with 2K resolution. According to reports, it has an unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.


Optics-wise, the 50-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto periscope camera with support for OIS and 3x optical zoom and the 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 rear camera for the Realme GT 5 Pro are expected to make up the camera module. The 5,400mAh battery of the Realme is reported to support both 50W and 100W wireless charging.

There may be improvements over the Realme GT 5 in the Realme GT 5 Pro. The latter made its debut in August in China, where the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage cost CNY 2,999.

The 6.74-inch full-HD+ (1,240×2,772 pixels) display on the Realme GT 5 has a refresh rate of 144 hertz. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM to run it. It contains three back cameras, the primary one of which is a 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor. Additionally, it has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Two battery and charge versions for the Realme GT 5 are offered: a 5,240mAh battery with 150W fast charging compatibility and a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging.
