Wings announced the Nuvobook laptop series in India on Tuesday. The catalogue includes the S1, S2, V1 and Pro laptops. With the offerings, the company aims to offer feature-rich, stylish tech products at a relatively lower price than the competition. The aim is to serve the 15-35 age category, and the brand will also introduce gaming and creator-centric laptops, Wings told Jagran English in an exclusive conversation.

While the company did not share detailed plans, the new laptops appear to be a good first attempt. For a detailed look at the price and specifications of the laptops, here is a report.


Wings Nuvobook Series Specifications

While the S1, S2, and V1 offer a 14.6-inch screen, the Nuvobook Pro has a 14-inch FHD IPS 60Hz screen with a peak brightness of up to 300nits and 100 per cent sRGB coverage. For multimedia consumption, these laptops get quad speakers with Wings Maxx Signature Audio and dual mics. Under the hood, the company offers up to Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Plus graphics. The generation of the processors was not revealed by the firm.

The laptop runs on Windows 11 Home. All models offer a 4,825mAh battery with 65W charging support. Moving to connectivity, the top-end model offers Wi-Fi 6, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack, HDMI, and a dual USB-C port. As for extras, the Nuvobook Pro laptop offers a backlit keyboard, privacy camera shutter, and HD webcam.

These machines will be available on Flipkart from October 1. The laptops will be “100% Made in India,” Wings added. “With the Nuvobook series, Wings plans to offer premium features like thin and lightweight aluminium alloy metal body, Type-C charging, vibrant colours and Intel processors at an extremely affordable pricing. Our play is to disrupt the category by pricing our feature-rich laptops strategically between the more expensive legacy players and the sub 20K segment,” Nishit Sharma, co-founder of Wings, told JE.
